Approval is sought to receive a grant offer of £1million from the Department for Education to support digital skills development across the City Region.

Reason for urgency:
The grant needs to be commited in this financial year and to ensure expedient skills provision across the City Region it is imperative that the grant is activiated immediately, particualry as the grant will also support the economic recovery from Covid-19. The grant offer will support digital skills development in the City Region.
