LCR 162 - Households Into Work

The Combined Authority will be asked to approve the funding of £1.4M from SIF to the HiW programme, an innovative employment project, aiming to identify and work with households where two or more adults are out of work and, because of their complex circumstances, find themselves unable to engage in a sustained search for employment.

The decision is key both in respect of the size of funding (exceeding the £150,000 expenditure threshold) and the geographic scope of the project (impacting upon residents across the entire City Region).
